Pieter Krynauw CEO, CXV Global & Panacea Technologies

Pieter Krynauw is chief executive officer and a member of the board of directors of CXV Global and Panacea Technologies, which joined forces in late 2022 to create a global provider of automation and digitization solutions that optimize operations for life sciences and other companies. Pieter has spent his entire career in process automation. During an 18-year tenure with Honeywell International, he led the company’s global automation solutions business after serving in management positions in China, the Middle East and the United States. Following Honeywell’s acquisition of Intelligrated, Pieter was promoted to President, where he was instrumental in building the business into a leader in supply chain automation. In his most recent position, Pieter served as CEO of ThruWave, a start-up company developing new 3D millimeter wave imaging technology for logistics and supply chain automation. Pieter earned his both his undergraduate and master’s degrees from the University of Stellenbosch in Stellenbosch, South Africa.

Frank Madden Founder & Executive Director, CXV Global

As Founder and CEO of both Crest Solutions (1998) and CXV Global (2020), Frank has driven key decision making on CXV Global’s policies and strategy. Frank's hands-on approach to leadership is complemented by a robust understanding of successful project delivery. He also has an intimate knowledge of our business and a solid track record of providing a high level of service to all our clients. His work has been recognized by his peers and he was a finalist in the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Awards 2015. He continues to support and advise HPSU's. Prior to founding Crest Solutions in 1998, Frank played an integral role in the team responsible for manufacturing at Apple Computers, based in Cork. He also spent time in Concurrent Ltd. and Alps Electric. Frank is a graduate of both the Cork and Sligo Institutes of Technology

Mark Purcell President and COO, CXV Global

Mark’s professional career spans over 25 years. During that time he has held a variety of management and leadership positions across a number of companies, both multi national and SME’s. Mark’s focus is ensuring that the strategy of the company is executed and to ensure that the company grows and scales in a manner that best meets our customers needs. Mark has a passion for ensuring that data driven approaches are central to managing the growth of our Company and in value creation for our customers.

Mark is a Fellow Chartered Certified Accountant (FCCA) and also holds a Masters Degree (MSc) in Data Business from University College Cork. Mark is also PMP certified.

Pierre Turcotte Senior Vice President, Global Sales & Marketing

With over 25 years’ experience in sales and marketing leadership across machine vision, serialization, turnkey projects in Life Science, as well as CPG, Pierre is noted for his ability to lead high-performing teams, his aptitude for strategic thinking and his customer-focused, pro-active, and practical approach to dealing with blue-chip clients. In 2022, Pierre joined CXV Global as the Senior VP of Global Sales and Marketing with the objective of delivering more value to customers, increasing brand recognition across the Life Sciences and High-End Industry sectors and to deliver the company global growth ambitions.

Bernie Cullinan Global Director, HR

Bernie has held C-level positions in a number of Irish technology companies and continues to be active in this sector. In these roles, Bernie has played a key role in driving growth and shareholder value in the US, UK and Ireland.

Bernie has a BComm and an MBA from University College Dublin and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA). Bernie is a past President of CIMA, a member of the Dublin College University Educational Trust and the Deputy Chairperson of Science Foundation Ireland.

Elliot Abreu Senior Vice President, USA

Elliot Abreu has been Sr. Vice President of Xyntek Incorporated since 2012. During his tenure, Mr. Abreu has led a strategic transformation at Xyntek to help grow the company into an industry leading information technology and engineering solutions design and delivery organisation, powered by advanced technical products & partnerships, and best-in-class solutions delivery and professional services.

Mr. Abreu’s background spans over 22 years within the Life Sciences industry, implementing turnkey solutions in Information Management, Process Automation, and Regulatory Compliance. Mr. Abreu leverages his deep Life Sciences subject matter, project management, and technology integration experience to help Xyntek solve complex business problems throughout the Life Sciences Drug Development lifecycle. Mr. Abreu is currently focused on the growth and expansion of CXV Global’s business verticals, through strategic alignment and collaborations with our North American & Global customers and partners.

Mr. Abreu holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Rutgers University. He is a long-standing member of various professional organisations including International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineers (ISPE), International Society of Automation (ISA), American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS), Healthcare Information Management Systems Society (HIMSS), and Laboratory Robotics Interest Group (LRIG).

Darren Atkinson Director and Chief Technology Officer

Darren Atkinson is a CTO and Technology Expert. Darren has held many roles from Founder to CTO in market leading organisations including PrisymID and FormScape Software. Through this experience, he adds considerable practical and Board level experience from fast growth, entrepreneurial software companies.

During his tenure at FormScape Software, Darren Atkinson was a key member of the executive team that delivered their enterprise solution, focusing on the Global Fortune 100 companies integrating directly with the major Tier 1 ERP providers SAP, JD Edwards and Oracle through key technology partnerships with IBM, HP and Microsoft. Darren participated in an MBO at FormScape and following 5 years of consecutive double-digit growth successfully exited the business through a trade sale.

Stéphane Van hoof Founder and CEO VistaLink

Stéphane started with machine vision back in 1988, the pioneer days of this technology. Being able to use this experience he founded VistaLink to build a strong team that today is recognised as an expert machine vision system integrator.

John Hegarty Head of Operations, UK and Ireland

John is one of the teams longest serving members, joining Crest Solutions in 2007 and is now Head of Operations, with overall responsibilities for all operational activities in Ireland and the UK. John is responsible for the delivery of our major projects in the UK and Ireland. His responsibilities include building and maintaining customer relationships through consistent and predictable project delivery and managing high performing teams and structures in place to ensure delivery and support of all of our solutions to a high standard. He also holds an MBA in Business Administration from the University of Limerick.
